Fever Dreams was initially completed about a month ago, at least that is what the posts say, give or take a week or so. It got a pretty good reception, applause and good jobs all around, but I wasn't happy with it. I have been jibbering about fixing lighting and tweaking animation and all this crazy talk about re-scored soundtracks. It is now done, and I will be happy to never touch it again. It's my baby, I love it, but as an artist sometimes you need to know when to cut the cord and just let it be. I did fix the lighting in a few areas that I thought it could use it, I added some effects here and there, polished some scenes that, to me, could have been better, and with the help of my friend Nate, we added some more dialogue, replaced a couple embarassing clips, added more sound effects, and I have now finally produced the version I am happy with. I am not going to design a completely new alternate ending, as when plugged in place of the standard ending, it was a bit much on the creature and I didn't think it fit, but if you stick around at the end of the credits, I did throw a bone to those that wanted a weirder ending. Here are some shots, before and after, of some of the tweeks to look for.
