Phew...

The new porfolio is done and at the print shop as i type this, its a 25 page monstrosity of artistic mayhem and beauty, I like it a lot. Most likely by tomorrow I will have it online, replacing the old print portfolio which I will have re-assigned to one of the sketchbook numbers at the bottom of my page.

The DVD is done, it is quite a trip seeing my movies on a tv screen, coming from a normal dvd player. It has Demo Reel 2007, Fever Dreams Final Cut, and a lightened up version of Spyder L3 GS.

Anybody who knows me personally knows that I do most of my work on PC based workstations, my home studio reflects that. I have nothing against macs, I am actually quite fluent with them and if they didn't cost so damn much I would probably own one just to have one, but I have always said that you get more flexibility and bang for your buck with PCs. The only reason I bring this up is because today, in a pinch, I built and authored the DVD on DVD Pro Studio, which is on a mac at school. For the most part, a wonderful piece of software. I don't know if it is because I am just that fluent in design programs or it is just laid out that well, but I sat down and within minutes was creating like I had always used that program. Well done. It's probably one of the few times I prefer other software to an Adobe product, but until CS3 comes out, Encore has been beat out by it's apple competition.
